I can't say this is bad review but a confused review. I really had high hopes and 802Mobile started out great. I contacted them to get a broken iphone screen replaced and got a really quick and courteous response. by phone. I then got an email with my order number and a promise to set up a time to come by to repair the phone. The quote was a bit high at $200, but I was desperate and willing to pay for the convenience of a house call. Then I heard nothing. I sent a couple of emails and left a couple of voicemails and got no response. I went by the office and there was no answer. I finally found a place in Montpelier that did the job for $90 quickly and efficiently. This was so different from what everyone else has described in reviews in terms of their experience with the company that I'm just confused and chalk it up as an anomaly.read more

Recently bought a used iPhone 6S from Facebook Marketplace. It was exactly what I wanted but after using it for several days I came to realize that the battery was shot. I live in Hyde Park and first thought of Burlington as the only place where I could get a new one. After a quick google search I found 802 Mobile. They had great reviews and best of all they were in Stowe, only 15 minutes from my house. I called first just to confirm that they had the battery I needed. I showed up to see the clean and organized store and workspace. The guys were friendly and checking in my iPhone was quick. They told me an hour for the repair as they were in the middle of a different repair. After leaving and coming back 15 minutes early I was pleasantly surprised that my iPhone was already done. Great first experience with 802 Mobile and I'll be sure to recommend them to any of my family or friends that need their services.read more

Absolutely amazing business! I was feeling overwhelmed and discouraged about my phone breaking. No one I spoke to prior to going to 802 Mobile could give me a solution or answer my questions/concerns. I took a chance on this business that was an hour away from me and on a holiday at that! Upon arrival, I was welcomed inside (despite it being a holiday) and was told exactly what I needed hear. Together, we took the steps necessary in establishing a plan for purchasing a new phone! I would highly recommend 802 Mobile. While visiting Stowe from out of state, I wound up closing the car door on my phone, cracking the screen and, as it turned out, the camera. They were able to diagnose the problem and fix the phone in less than 24 hours. I was super grateful for their quick and expert service - if I lived in the area they would definitely be my go-to for all things mobile.

It is a horrible thing to have a broken screen on your most used devices, I called 802 Mobile in Stowe, and the gentleman that answered my call was very professional, and quick to get all the information he needed to help me with getting my back screen replaced. I even had options for my phone with colors !! I did everything over the phone. It was a very reasonably cheap price to pay for my screen, and once he has it there I will pay the coast of them putting it on my device. I cant wait to have my phone fixed !! 802 Mobile is a gem in Stowe. Joe is incredibly knowledgeable about the tech and cell phone industries, and he gave us excellent advice about how to get the most value from cell phones and plans. He gave us a terrific price on two phones (iPhone and Samsung), Otterbox cases, and accessories.Joe also has the patience of a saint, and explains everything very clearly and kindly. His advice is solid and trustworthy. If you are looking for great prices and service for phones, cell phone plans, repairs, accessories, this is the best place around. Even if you do not live close to Stowe, this place is worth the drive.

I was very pleased with the service and the friendly staff. Ryan was particularly helpful and got my phone working after I attempted to change the battery myself. Unfortunately, it turned out that the new battery was defective as it wouldn't charge beyond 15%. The phone worked but was not unusable because it wouldn't hold a charge. I ended up scraping it and got another phone. I would recommend them to anyone was needing assistance with their electronic device.Bill

Loving my new S10 I got from 802 Mobile. Ryan and Joe are so helpful and so personable even when dealing with an upset girl over a phone (I may have cried). I contacted 802Mobile on a Wednesday to get my battery repaired on my iPhone 8+ and they got me in that same week on Friday. The customer service was amazing. I stopped into 802 Mobil not even knowing if they were open but my phone was not working and I was desperate. I was greeted by a friendly face and was told that my smashed screen could be fixed within 15 minutes! I had an Ipad with an unusable charging port and had trouble finding a local repair place to fix it since it required soldering. Ryan clearly explained their service capabilities and pricing and communicated with me throughout. After initial investigation, they found that the motherboard connections were damaged as well. Ryan proceeded to quote out the repair to various partner companies to get the best pricing/timing. Although it did take extra time to be returned, it was not the fault of 802 Mobile (USPS mis-delivered the package, as shown by the tracking). All in all, the service was great, the pricing was reasonable and the job was well done.

Quick - while I waited - repaired my glass-backed Samsung S8. I was concerned about stuff on the back, like the fingerprint reader. All worked fine after the repair. Cheaper than if I'd attempted to fix it myself with parts from the internet.

Ryan and Edward were so helpful and awesome!!!! Originally, I was told my screen could not be fixed due to a defect in the new screen, but when I came to pick up my phone Edward was almost finished replacing it with a different screen they had found. So surprised, so grateful!!! This place is great and was so convenient as opposed to heading to burlington or sending it out to Apple. Everyone there was so accommodating and knowledgable. 100% recommend this company for anyone needing a screen replacement or tech gadgets. Thank you guys so much.
